I've started removing special whitespace characters from courses. For example, some courses contained words with tab characters in them, which made it pretty much impossible to answer the words correctly (because it's pretty much impossible to type the "tab" character -- you need to open Notepad, press the Tab key, and then copy and paste the result).
Here's an example where a tab character had accidentally been put into a word:

As you can see, it looks like there are two spaces between "telephone" and "call", but one of those spaces is actually a tab, which makes it pretty much impossible to answer this question correctly.
