[New feature] Import progress from Memrise!

I've just finished a feature to let people import their progress from Memrise! 🙂

To get started, go the Courses page and click "Import Memrise progress":

Progress can't yet be imported into a My Little Word Land course where you've already starting learning words, but I'm hoping to remove this limitation soon 🙂

Also, on each course's overview page, I've renamed the "Level" column to "Remembered" and made it show how long each word has been successfully remembered:

I've fixed some bugs and sped up the importing 🙂

To date, 4 users have imported progress for 2,500 words over a total of 5 courses 🙂

You are brilliant, neon cube, thank you. A number years ago I entered a rather comprehensive course for Tetun (one of the official languages of East Timo) into memrise, which has quite a number of learners. We would all hate for it to get lost as there are no alternatives. I would love to migrate that course and make an announcement to that end on the memrise version, before it is made to disappear.

This feature has been officially released and is now available by going to the Courses page and clicking "Import Memrise progress":

I've also updated the Chrome and Firefox extensions so that they enforce the rule that only one course may be downloaded at a time, and downloading is now a bit slower, too, so as to not overload the Memrise servers.

Wait, never mind… someone just emailed me with a screenshot of an error message that they got while running the latest version of the Memrise Progress Exporter extension, and it looks like I've broken it on Chrome '-_-

I've removed the "Import Memrise progress" button until this is fixed.

sdopke You should now be able to access this feature by going to the "Courses" page, clicking "Import Memrise progress", and following the instructions there 🙂

Hi! I have successfully imported my progress, but when I go to "learn" I can only learn the very first words of the course, even if my review schedule is coherent with what I've done in memrise.

Sure! As you can see in the lateral bar, I made about half of the course. Nevertheless when I try to learn it puts the very first words.

armazenamentoparaestudos Just had a chance to look at this! 🙂

On Memrise, it looks like this course would prompt on English and have you answer with Greek, so when your progress was imported, it was imported specifically for the third learning method: "Q: Definition, A: Word". Can you try clicking that and see if it shows you the words that you'd expect to learn?

Perhaps I should put some sort of icon on learning methods that have progress, so they're most obvious 🙂
