Apparently, there is no way to regulate how many words to review at a time, at least that I can see. At Memrise you could choose how many words to review in a session. It looks like you would have to review all the words to complete a session. Will we be able to choose how many words to review, at some point?

Let me see if I can add this πŸ™‚

Note that currently, even if you quit part way through a review session, it'll still save your progress πŸ™‚

On second thought, perhaps adding an "End test" button on the test pages would be good enough. That would let people review for as long as they like but also give them a way to end the test early, if they get bored πŸ™‚

neoncube It would be nice to know the results regardless of whether I made it to the end or terminated in the middle of the course. The results means a list of which words I got right and which words I got wrong. (preferably a cumulative count of the past).

7shi Agreed. Good point about separating the words into which ones were gotten right/wrong πŸ™‚

What do you mean by "a cumulative count of the past"?

neoncube Sorry for the confusing text. I write my thought process.

        1. Since you mentioned the "End test" button, I thought it would be nice if pressing it would show the results of the test. Also shown when the test is done to the end without interruption.
        2. Additionally, I thought it would be useful if all right/wrong counts including past tests were accumulated, not just one test.

          7shi Thanks πŸ™‚

I understand point #1. For point #2, would it be helpful to show the amount of time that you've successfully remembered the word for? This is what the "level" column on the Overview page is supposed to be showing, with the rock that grows larger the longer that you've successfully remembered a word, although I don't think that's very obvious XD

neoncube I am more interested in the number of mistakes. When I make a mistake on a word, it would be helpful to confirm how many times I made mistakes on that word.

It may be personal preference, but I feel comfortable with numbers. Memrise has "Difficult words" method, and I usually feel to know how many times I made mistakes on those words.

But It is not essential, so if you don't need it, that's alright.

After being tested it would be nice to have a summary of how we did - eg 15 correct answers, and 5 wrong answers.

neoncube I've created the image. Of course, the same information could be in Overview, but I prefer to display it here as well, in terms of test results and statistics.

Is there currently a way to see how many questions are up for review for β€œlevel up?” I may be missing something obvious.

Thank you for all your hard work on this!

              miaomiaopurr Is it like this?

              Image description

As far as I know there is no way to confirm this, but I hope there is.

miaomiaopurr Sorry for the super late reply! XD

I've recently added something like this: https://forum.mylittlewordland.com/d/166-new-feature-x-words-ready-for-review-icon/2 . Currently, the number of words that are ready to be leveled up is only shown after opening a course, but God willing, I'll eventually be adding this to the Overview page, too πŸ™‚ I originally thought that it'd be trickier to add this to the Overview page, because of the amount of data involved, but after thinking about it for a bit, I don't think it'll be overly difficult! πŸ™‚
