Making people contributors of their old courses
- Edited
@alanh, I've added you as contributor to .Finnish Forum
@DW7, I've added you as contributor to 'Meaningful' Bible Verses ~ NIV. It looks like I might need to do some work on this course, though
@7shi, I've add you as contributor to Ancient South Arabian script by Proto-Sinaitic. It looks like this course is a good candidate for me to delete, fix, and reupload, though
If anyone should be a contributor to a course but isn't, please let me know, so I can add you!

Hello,
I was the maker of various medieval courses of varying quality. I know at least one of the Old Irish courses has been imported here (https://mylittlewordland.com/course/313286/old-irish-glossary-quin-lessons-1-20) and I can see all the old mistakes I never got around to fixing! Although I'm not really using this course anymore myself, I would be up for fixing them for future learners if made a contributor. The second part of this course has also been cloned (https://mylittlewordland.com/course/286991/old-irish-glossary-quin-lessons-20-40), and same applies, although it might make more sense for me to combine the two at this stage.
My Memrise username was FinnLongman. I also took the photos used as the cover picture for both courses. I don't mind them being re-used, it's just funny seeing pictures I took in 2013 popping up in a new location like this. I stumbled on this site by chance while following a Reddit thread to try to figure out whether my old courses would have been fully deleted.

fianaigecht Hello, and welcome to the site!
It looks like all of the six courses that you authored on Memrise have been imported to My Little Word Land. I've added you as the author of these courses, so you should now have full control over them
Your Memrise profile reminds me a lot of when I was a teen, making my first forays onto the internet! Good times! :D
BTW, if you decide you'd like to merge https://mylittlewordland.com/course/286991/old-irish-glossary-quin-lessons-20-40 and https://mylittlewordland.com/course/313286/old-irish-glossary-quin-lessons-1-20 , please let me know, and I think I could do some backend work to merge these courses in a way that would let people keep their progress.
neoncube Fabulous, thank you. I'll leave the courses separate for now, but I plan to work on tidying up the first one (mostly, moving the 'part of speech' and 'gender' information to the correct columns because I didn't know how to do that on Memrise when I made the course -- you can see that I'd learned this by the time I did the second Old Irish course! Half that info is actually missing as I clearly got bored of putting it in, so I'll add it some time when I'm procrastinating. I made the original courses as an undergrad to help me get through my exams and I know that several generations of students after me relied on them, so it's useful to have somewhere I can point them to so that that can continue.

fianaigecht Very cool!
I'd also recommend replacing all of the commas in your courses with semicolons, by going to the course's Edit page, clicking the settings icon, clicking the "Replace commas with semicolons" button, and then saving the course:
Memrise used to use commas as the separator between synonyms, but then they switched to semicolons, which is what My Little Word Land also uses. It looks like your course is from the time when Memrise was using commas as the separator, and this will automatically update it to use semicolons as the separator
Hi! First off, thank you SO MUCH for the work you're doing!
My Memrise profile is https://community-courses.memrise.com/user/taubercat/courses/teaching/
If you're able to add me as contributor, that'd be great. Thank you!
neoncube thank you!!!!
