@Yuxiu, @Karen1313, and @d217sides:

Would any of you be interested in being added as a contributor to this course, so that you can make corrections to anything that needs it?

(If more than one person would like to be added as a contributor, that'd be great, too! :D)

    Yeah, feel free to add me. I haven't been studying as much lately as I should, so that will give me some motivation to. Would you like me to also add additional terms, or just make corrections on existing ones?

      d217sides Cool, I've added you! 🙂

      I think the most pressing thing is that most or all of the commas in the course need to be replaced with semicolons. It looks like this course was made back when Memrise was using commas instead of semicolons to separate synonyms. My Little Word Land and modern Memrise use semicolons to separate synonyms, instead, so if a word is defined as "blow; punch", only "blow" or "punch" need to be typed as the answer, instead of having to type both words.

      To make this change, go to Edit -> Edit vocabulary -> click the settings icon, and then use the "Replace commas with semicolons" or "Find and replace" features to replace the semicolons with commas:

      Other than that, I'd probably avoid adding any new terms, but making corrections or adding synonyms would be great 🙂

        neoncube I'm up for it, but please don't expect hours a day, I'm crazy busy at the moment.

          neoncube Yeah I'm happy to work on it when I've got some spare time, looks simple enough. Have you considered adding plurals into the data set? Typically I see the structure as something similar to [das Buch, -"er]. Or are you set on only keeping the nouns as singular?

            neoncube I also noticed there are a section of words in the list ending in "-ung" that are missing the definite article "die". Of course it is a given that they all use the article "die", but it would be best practice if the article were to be added. If you don't mind, I will add it in.

            d217sides Thanks, I see you already replaced the commas with semicolons! 🙂

            This course was made by PolGarrigaRiba50 on Memrise, so I'm not sure what their original intentions for the course were.

            Adding the definite article sounds reasonable to me, but I'm not familiar with German, so I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else (@Yuxiu or @Gaelyn?) can weigh in on this. Note that if you put something in parentheses, My Little Word Land will automatically register it as being optional. For example, if the definition is "(the) dog", then typing either "dog" or "the dog" will be counted as correct.

            Plurals are always a pain XD Feel free to add them if you think it would improve the course 🙂 If you want to accept both singular and plural forms, then you could separate them with a semicolon, e.g. "dog; dogs"

              Yuxiu Thanks 🙂

              Since I've added @d217sides as a contributor, would you still like to be added as a contributor? (Just checking)

              If you need me you can, but if you've got enough people I think you better stick with them 😛. Feel free to call on me though if needs arises.

                neoncube Adding the die/der/das would be a great improvement in my opinion

                Yuxiu Sounds good! I'll hold off on adding you as a contributor for now, but if you'd like to be added later on, just let me know! 🙂
