As most of you will know, MemRise tests a pair of items against each other until it is fully learned (and it gets a flower).

Afterwards it only test one way (as intended by the Creator of the course).

So many of us set up "Reversed" levels so after flowering the testing would be the other way round.

MemRise treated the reversed as unique but did not duplicate data (as far as I know).

Your system where one can choose at the start which way to be tested, eliminates that.

    Happily, cloning courses from Memrise didn't result in duplicate items, either 🙂

    I'll have to be a bit careful about this when I reimplement levels, though. I suppose levels that are empty due to reverse testing should probably not be reimported.
