e8545 That probably would be a fair amount of work to implement, but that's fine! :)
I've thought before about adding a feature like this. I wonder if all of the options would end up being words that are spelled similarly:
- inheritance
- inherently
- heritage
- heretic
If so, would that be useful? I don't really use multiple choice mode, so it's a bit difficult for me to envision what changes to it would be an improvement, so I appreciate feedback on it π
Another option, I suppose, would be for most of the words to be selected randomly but for there to be one option included that people often get wrong. That has the disadvantage that then it'd probably be easy to narrow the correct answer down to one of those two options, but maybe that's fine.
By the way, may I ask your reason for using multiple choice instead of typing? I have a feeling that when people want a non-typing mode, multiple choice might be an obvious choice but not totally ideal, and I wonder if there might be a better option. For example, an option to speak to your phone and have it do speech-to-text and let you know if your answer was correct or not π
