Noda I think what happened here is:
Since My Little Word Land automatically supports testing in different directions, when Memrise community courses are cloned to My Little Word Land, some of the words get merged together. For example, in this course on Memrise, these are counted as separate words:
- "you" -> ä½
- ni3 -> ä½
On My Little Word Land, this gets merged into a single word.
On Memrise, there are are 1,290 words in this course, and that should get collapsed to roughly half on My Little Word Land, so roughly 645 words.
5 of the words from the Memrise course are the names of the characters in the video, so those don't get collapsed, and after level 49, it looks like there are only "Key Sentences" levels and no more Key Sentences - Chinese Characters" levels, so words in those levels probably didn't get collapsed, either.
I think that means that the course on My Little Word Land should have more words, though (probably 700+), so let me keep investigating 🙂
