Languages that are missing courses

Thank you again @neoncube for taking on the enormous task of 'saving' all of the community courses! It is such a relief knowing they aren't disappearing entirely…

I have noticed that some of the language folders for English speakers are missing their courses, and so I am making a little list here with those that currently show 'No Courses Found' to me. This might be a bug so this post might belong in the bugs category, but I figured I would just make a general post. Especially since I know that some of the sign courses are in a bit of limbo and I assume that some of these might just have no courses for English speakers!

I am sure you are probably already aware of this, but thought this might help 🙂

Argentine Sign Language (ASL), Armenian - Eastern, Armenian - Western, Australian Sign Language (Auslan), British Sign Language (BSL), Cebuano, Dzongkha, Japanese - Kanji, Japanese - No Script, Javanese, Nahuatl languages, Potawatomi, Religion - Christianity, Sami - Lule, Sami - Northern, Sami - Southern, Sami - Ume, Samoan, Swedish Sign Language (SSL)

Thanks, this is helpful! 🙂 Some of the sign language categories are probably empty because of all the courses in those categories haven't had their images uploaded yet, as you mentioned, but for the other categories, I probably misspelled them when migrating courses, so nothing got uploaded. Let me take another look 🙂

Oh no, it looks like all of the "Japanese" and "Japanese - Kanji" courses were lumped under "Japanese". That'll be fun to fix XD

Glad to hear this was helpful 🙂 I'm particularly interested in the Sami languages at the moment, so I went looking for them. Have you had issues transferring data from language categories that have their own sub-categories?

lbhoube I did miss most of the sub-categories during the first pass XD I fixed most of those last week, but it looks like I forgot to clone the Sami languages. They should now be available! 🙂

Ah, I'd just forgotten to migrate the Kanji courses! Time to do that 🙂

I've migrated most courses in these categories: Armenian - Eastern, Armenian - Western, Cebuano, Dzongkha, Japanese - Kanji, Japanese - No Script, Javanese, Potawatomi, Sami - Lule, Sami - Northern, Sami - Southern, Sami - Ume, and Samoan 🙂

I need to look into why no Nahuatl languages course were migrated.

"Religion - Christianity" is a new category that I created with the hope of eventually moving Christian courses to, but it's empty for now 🙂

Wow! Thank you for your quick work. 🙂 Curious to hear what you figure out about the Nahuatl languages…
