Yes, I would. Especially since the course has some mistakes that I've noticed. The most common of which, if I recall correctly, is requiring the definite article in the German translation when the given English does not have the definite article. So the English might say "dog," but if you write "Hund" as the answer, you get it wrong, because it wanted you to write "der Hund." Knowing the correct German article is important, so the best solution is simply to include the definite article in the English as well ("the dog").

@neoncube Yes, and I also discovered that the 1), 2), 3) etc. used to indicate different senses of a word make it so that the translation is not accepted when those are omitted. Putting the entire number in parentheses would work, but does not look the best visually and could be confusing. For that reason, I have opted to do what I have done in my own courses, which is to omit these numbers, but keep the translations associated with a specific sense of a word together in the order. For example, if a word can be an adjective and have an adjectival meaning, but also a verb and have a verbal meaning, the box for that word would look something like this: first adjectival translation; second adjectival translation; first verbal translation; second verbal translation. I feel that this format works well enough for being able to discern the different senses in which a word can be used, and it has the advantage of removing the clutter that the numbers add.

Gaelyn I think that sounds like a good approach 🙂 That's the same approach that most of the Chinese courses that I study use, too.

I have finally finished editing the course. It took many, many hours (~25) to convert every word-translation pair into a format that worked on My Little Word Land. I have also fixed various typos and errors that I found.

There are still improvements that could be made, but the course should be fully functional now.

This reminds me, too, that I was originally planning to make it so that My Little Word Land would automatically accept verbs either with "to" in front of them or without, so that the course authors wouldn't need to always put "to" in parentheses. That is, if the word or definition is "to sing", it'd be nice if the site automatically accepted both "sing" and "to sing". This would still requires authors to put "to" in front of each verb, but at least it wouldn't need to be in parentheses 🙂
