Synonyms now separated by semicolons instead of commas

I've made the changes that we discussed in https://forum.mylittlewordland.com/d/19-synonyms-separator: Synonyms must now be separated by a semicolon ; instead of a comma ,

For example, you should use hot;spicy instead of hot,spicy.

There were two reasons for this change:

It makes it so that synonyms can include sentences with commas. For example, Hi, how are you?;Hello, how are you?
Memrise courses used semicolons to separate synonyms, so now Memrise courses should work on My Little Word Land without any changes being needed 🙂

If this broke a course that you made, my apologies, and please post a link to the course so that I can fix it! 🙂

I would always have wanted a space after the punctuation mark.

I've finished running the script that makes existing courses use a semicolon instead of a comma! If you see any issue, please let me know 🙂

There were a couple hundred courses that the script failed on. I need to look into these.

Just curious - how did you make the script be able to distinguish between a comma in a sentence and a comma used as a separator?

When I downloaded each course's levels from Memrise, the levels contained definitions and alternatives. I just joined the definitions and alternatives together with semicolons 🙂

I think this should preserve the same behaviour as was on Memrise: Semicolons act as separators, and commas don't have any effect.

Of course, back in the day, Memrise used commas as separators, and when they switched to using semicolons, many courses weren't migrated, so there are probably still a lot of courses that use commas as separators 🙂
