On Memrise, when you learn, say, 5 words (let's name them A B C D, and E), in a session, the words appear separately. It looks something like this:
Word A appear -> MC test on A -> Word B appear -> MC test on B -> … MC test on E -> Typing test on C -> Typing test on A -> …
That is, you get familiarized with the new words separately with MC tests, before being tested with typing or jumbled words (for long sentences) when the words appear randomly.
On MLWL, you see all the 5 words in a list. You are supposed to memorize all the words, and then be tested on all the words.
I'm not sure which way is better. I'm more used to the Memrise way, but the MLWL way may have its advantages for being more challenging. But maybe @[deleted] can consider implementing the Memrise mode or combining the two? Thanks for reading!
