Hm, it looks like that course is slightly messed up, probably due to it having an introductory level in Memrise where the testing direction was Farsi -> English and then having the rest of the levels be English -> Farsi.
Words are currently ignored per testing direction, so ignoring (اَلف (ا -> Alef doesn't also ignore Alef -> (اَلف (ا . I've been thinking about adding another option for ignoring the word entirely. I suppose that probably should be the default 🙂
