Duplication of MemRise official Language Courses (UK and USA versions)

I have been setting up my learning area, by selection the 7 Official MemRise courses and ones I am a Contributor on (in MemRise), but I note that several of the 1 to 7 courses appear twice in the list (with the same image).

Would it be possible for you to delete one or distinguish between them? Thanks.

I think I figured out what's happening! 🙂

The official Memrise courses had two different versions, one for British English speakers and one for American English speakers. My Little Word Land has a single English category, so both versions of the courses are showing up there.

Ideally, I'd like to encourage people to use whichever version of the course was most popular, and then rename the old course to be something like "Italian 1 (Old course, for American English speakers)", so people know not to sign up for that one.

Long-term, I think it'd be great to have a system where course creators could have multiple versions of their courses, to support different dialects. I have some ideas for this 🙂

Well done! Yes of course!

Perhaps they should be called 'Italian 1 (UK)" and "Italian 1 (USA)" etc.

Can you think of a way for us to "quit " (un-list) courses we don't like, please.

And presumably if you rename a course, I'll be able to distinguish and un-list the correct one, one day.

Can you label Italian 1 etc (UK) and (USA) respectively?

And have you been able to think of a way for us to "delete" or "quit" a course? (So I can delete the USA ones.)

Hi @[deleted] - two requests here for a rainy day.

Renaming the Official (MemRise) Italian, French (and other language) courses to (UK) or (USA) - eg "Italian 1 (UK)".

Quitting a course so it is no longer on our Dashboard (as I don't want to study the USA versions, and there are bound to be courses that I try and no longer wish to be listed on my dashboard for some reason).
