Hello! I just wanna say that I think this site is super cute and cool and I'm excited to use what's on here and hopefully contribute with some Ojibwe courses!
But I cannot for the life of me understand the village building mechanics. I have some materials but there's nothing to click on for me? Do I just not have enough resources yet to do anything?
I think some clarification of how this works would be overall beneficial.

rileyhowes If you do not have enough resources, the option will not be displayed.
There was a discussion that it would be better to display the required resources.

I have over 10000 logs and stones but I can't build more than the first 5 items. I think when there are new items I can build a whole town )
Ang Indeed, my dream was to have a complete village ^_^ Maybe now is a good time to do that
I kind of like having how many items are needed to level up be a mystery, but maybe it'd be useful to show a message like "Gather wood and stones to begin building your village!" until the first level of the village is built?
We automatically gather wood and stone and emeralds (?) and if you like the mytery it's fine for me. I can live with the surprise. I look forward to build the next items. It looks cute. I wish you a creative time.

You gather a piece of wood, a piece of stone, or an emerald every time you learn a new word or correctly review an existing word through the "Level up" mode.
It's probably going to be a while before I get to this, sorry :/ Recently, I've been mostly focusing on making it so that people can import their progress from Memrise to My Little Word Land
